Booking Conditions

• Bookings will be confirmed upon payment of the corresponding deposit (20% or the full rental amount) or by express confirmation from Formentera Motos via the website, email, telephone or WhatsApp.
• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of the rental. In the event of late cancellation, no-show or unjustified delay of more than 5 hours without prior notice, Formentera Motos may retain the deposit paid or apply the charge corresponding to the first rental day, as provided for in the general rental terms.
• A "no show" shall be deemed the customer's failure to appear within 5 hours after the scheduled vehicle pick-up time without prior notice or reasonable justification. In such cases, Formentera Motos may cancel the booking and make the vehicle available again. Delays arising from justified incidents on flights, ferries or adverse weather conditions shall not be considered a "no show", provided the customer notifies as soon as possible.
• Rental days correspond to full 24-hour periods and not to calendar days.
• As this is a vehicle rental service linked to specific dates or periods of provision, the customer accepts that the booking is subject to the cancellation policy indicated, without prejudice to the rights legally afforded to them as a consumer.
• The rental period will start counting from the time indicated in the online booking.
• Vehicles are delivered with the fuel or battery level recorded in the contract.
• The extended liability reduction cover may include specific limitations or exclusions set out in the general rental terms.
• Subject to availability, the customer may request changes of vehicle category during the rental, paying the corresponding difference where applicable.
• In the event of adverse weather conditions that hinder the normal use of motorcycles or bicycles, a change to another vehicle category may be requested, subject to availability.
• For motor vehicles it will be necessary to present a valid identity document, a valid driving licence and a postal contact address. For bicycles and electric bicycles it will be necessary to present at least a valid identity document.
• Formentera Motos reserves the right to refuse delivery of the vehicle in the event of failure to meet the legal or contractual requirements necessary for the rental.
